Summer vacations just seem to get shorter and shorter. The kids from That '70s Show barely had time to scribble good-byes in their yearbooks, and already they are back for a sophomore season on Fox. The comedy that flashes back to the decade of WIN buttons and smiley faces returns with new episodes this month. So if you're new to school, here's a primer on who's who, who plays who, and, of course, who likes who. OK, OK: whom.
NAME: Ashton Kutcher
PLAYS: Michael Kelso, Most Handsome (but probably couldn't spell handsome)
AGE: 21
BIRTHPLACE: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY: Fishing, golf, chess
BIO: Two years ago, Kutcher was sweeping up Cheerios at a General Mills plant, a summer job while he attended the University of Iowa. Then his lanky good looks impressed the judges of a Fresh Faces of Iowa modeling contest, and a new career was launched. After appearing in campaigns for Calvin Klein and Abercrombie & Fitch, he auditioned for That '70s Show and the short-lived Wind on Water. He landed both jobs and wisely picked the comedy. He finds inspiration in his twin brother, Michael, who survived a heart transplant at 13.
QUOTE: "Michael pulled a miracle. My life is easy."
