Were you nervous the first day when you shot the pilot?
I was petrified. I was more scared when we did the first read through. The first time you see the script you do a read through at a table. Everybody was sitting there, and I didn't really know what was going on. I was shaking. I had a pencil and I snapped it! I was so scared that first day. I was a little bit less scared the day it was shot. After a while, I was more comfortable with the people I was around, so that helped a lot.
What's the best and worst part about being an actor?
The best part about being an actor is the adrenaline rush when you shoot a scene. It's a rush that can be matched by nothing.
And the worst part?
The worst part about being and actor is breaking in and out of character. When you play a character that is a lot like you, sometimes that character can rub off on you and the things that you say in life can rub off on your character. Doing a 70s show, I can't use the same lingo that I use in real life, but in real life I'll be running around saying stuff from the show and people are like, "Why do you keep saying 'Man!' all the time?"
We can't resist - we have to ask a 70s related question. Are the Bradys cooler than the Partriges?
Hey, I'm all about the Bradys. I watch the reruns, and Marcia is my dream goddess. I'll watch it just to watch Marcia.
