Full Name: Stewart Henry Stern
Stewart Stern was a writer with his own reputation. He won many awards for his works and was most celebrated for his screenplays. Grew up in New York City, Stern was born in a real Hollywood family. His uncle was the powerful Adolph Zukor, founder of Paramount Pictures. His cousins were the Leows, who once controlled MGM. Yet Stern built his fame and reputation on his own talent and hard work. He was graduated from the University of Iowa's School of Dramatic Arts. During World War II, he served as an infantry squad leader in the Battle of Bulge. Later he became an stage actor on Broadway and Dialogue Director in many classic films noire. Throughout his career, Stern had written dozens of screenplays, including the famous film script of Rebel Without A Cause. His positive attitude and passion in films and productions had won him respect from his directors and cast members. He was always welcomed on the sets.
