The 5th Year According To Me

Brandy

Chapter Four

The room was very silent at the news. No one saying anything. Faith was just smiling, Giles was gaping, Harry and his friends were shivering from shock. And then a voice broke the silence.

"Bloody hell! Snape has a kid??!!"

Everyone turned to see the speaker and were shocked to see Hermione. She looked rather embarrassed.

"Sorry, did I say that aloud?"

Harry and Ron shook their heads yes. Ron's eyes were wide with shock.

"How many times have you told ME not to swear?" Ron asked momentarily forgetting his parents were right there.

"Ron Weasley! I know you have NOT been swearing!" Molly Weasley demanded of your youngest son.

Ron looked taken back before mentally slapping himself for his confession.

"Um, No?"

Molly shook her and narrowed her eyes at her son.

"Mum, relax. Besides you don't look that intimidating to a group of kids who have had Snape as a professer." Charlie said trying to make his mom sit down.

Willow turned on her heels and looked Charlie straight in the eyes and said, "HEY!"

Charlie looked up at her and said, "Well sorry but he is a mean git."

"So the ever scary teacher has a daughter? And I must say THAT is scary." came a snide British voice from the doorway.

Everyone turned to see a blonde, blue eyed, man in black robes. He looked like he might be related to Spike.

"Justin?" came a voice from behind Willow and Severus.

Willow turned to see a younger version of the man standing in the doorway.

"Jeez, what is this, Spikes on parade?" Faith asked as she too looked at the man and boy.

"What are you doing here?" the boy asked of the man.

The man who was now known as Justin looked at the boy and replied, "Draco, I am here to make sure he doesn't get to you like he did our fathers."

The boy, Draco, looked at the man and it hit him full force of what Justin was saying.

"You are here to PROTECT me from Voldermont?"

"Yes."

The room was once again shocked when Draco ran to the man and hugged him.

Willow and Faith exchanged a look and shrugged.

"Malfoy?"

"What?" came the repley from both blondes.

"You are not wanted here Justin." said a redheaded man who had been sitting with Charlie.

"Well that's too bad Weasley, because Voldermont will have to kill me first before he gets his paws on my cousin." Justin snarled at the redhead.

"You expect us to belive that a MALFOY is putting someone else before himself? That is a load of shi.."

"Percy!" shouted Arthur at his son.

"Sorry dad. But I find it hard to belive that those two could care for anyone but themselves." Percy said still eyeing Justin.

Willow wanted to avoid any fights so she did the only thing to do, she walked up to Justin Malfoy and stuck her hand out saying, "Hi, my name's Willow."

Justin looked from the girl in front of him to the redheaded man who was seething not twenty feet away.

"Hi, I'm Justin, she looks like you Snape."

"She should. She IS his daughter." Giles said for the first time since Willow's little announcement.

Giles took in the sight of Willow next to Snape and couldn't help but feel happy for her. When he was younger Snape was always caring toward Shelia. And Giles could honestly say that Snape had loved Shelia. That is until Shelia told them she was leaving Hogwarts and the wizarding world and anything that was connected to it behind. Giles remembered the way Severus took the news. He was heartbroken

And now it was clear to see that he had found his life again. Giles had always had a soft spot for Willow because she looked so much like the Shelia he had known all those years ago. It didn't occur to him until he met Shelia at the town meeting that Willow was, in fact, the daughter of his long ago friend.

Giles knew Severus would protect Willow against harm and give her the love her mother and Ira never gave her. She deserved to be happy.

Willow sat beside Faith outside on the bleachers and watched a game of Quidditch. It was Hufflepuff vs. Ravenclaw.

"So, why didn't you ever say anything to B about Ira not being your dad?" Faith asked as they watched a black haired girl dive for a ball.

"I don't know. Thanks for not letting Giles kill him." Willow replied.

"No problem. So, can I beat up that Percy guy? He's a pain in the as.."

"No Faith, you can not beat up the Percy guy." Giles said as he and Severus sat next to the girls.

"Do the others know where you two are?" Willow asked her friend and mentor.

"Buffy knows we came to find you."

"How did you know where I was?"

Giles looked rather uncomfrtable. "Voldemort told us where to find you."

Severus and Willow both shot to their feet and shouted, "What?!"

"Severus you and I both know we are both working for Dumbledore as spies. So, when Willow went missing, Voldemort came to me and told me where she was and told me to bring her to him. Of course he has no idea I plan on doing no such thing."

Severus looked at his old...no his friend and couldn't help but feel pleased that he would not be turning his daughter over to the Dark Lord.

"Thank you my friend." he said shaking hands with Giles.

Willow and Faith had been given a room in the dungeons. They were on their way to their room when they heard the sounds of voices.

Angry voices.

Angry male voices.

They made their way to the sounds of the argument and found Justin Malfoy and Percy Weasley about to beat the tar out of each other.

And up against a far wall were a girl and the boy Draco. Both were shouting at Percy to leave Justin alone.

"This does not look good." Willow wispered to Faith.

They shared a look and stepped in to the middle of the fight. Unfortunately for Willow she stepped right in front of Justin just as Percy swung at him.

Willow was knocked backwards into Justin and they both went down. Him landing under Willow, so he took the brunt of the fall.

Faith had stepped up to Percy and decked him. And he was out cold on the floor. And without warning two wands flew to the hands of Draco and the girl.

They said something and they were off the walls and on the floor.

"Are you ok?" Draco asked the girl. She looked up at him and Faith could have sworn she looked shocked at the question.

"Um, yes, I'm fine, thanks. Are you ok?"

"Yeah. By the way, thanks for trying to help Justin."

"No problem. Percy was out of line."

"Dear Merlin that is something I did not want to see." Draco said as he stared past Faith.

All three heads were now focused on Willow on top of Justin. And neither one was moving a muscle to get up.

"Willow Ann Rosenberg-Snape! What in Merlin's name are you doing?" a new voice demanded from the shadows. And out stepped Severus and Giles along with someone who they had at wand's point.

"Hi dad. Hi Giles."

"Get off of him!" Severus shouted.

"Can't."

"This is bloody funny." said the third man.

Severus smacked the third guy in the head and turned back to his daughter and Justin.

"And why not?" Giles asked taking off his glasses and pinching the bridge of his nose in annoyance.

"Well....um..."

"We're stuck." Justin said as he looked up at the rapidly growing crowd.

The man that Severus had smacked was now laughing.

Four angry voices shouted as one, "Shut up, Ethan!"

And then McGonagall was standing there, looking very unhappy.
