There is a littlen-big endian problem for a long time. You may wonder what does it mean ? It describes a computer architecture in which, within a given 16- or 32-bit word, bytes at lower addresses have lower significance. The PDP-11 and VAX families of computers and Intel microprocessors and a lot of communications and networking hardware are little-endian. You of course you don't have to believe me. Well then you can use this little program to see what endian is your computer :
