Islamic Diet

The Islamic diet is not that much different of the Jewish diet, however we do not eat any animal products that has not been slaughtered in the name of Allah and by a Muslim. We, also do not eat ANY part whatsoever of the Pig animal, it is considered unclean and has
a lot of parasites that are harmful to humans.
"O ye who
believe! Eat of the good things that We have provided for
you. And be grateful to Allah, if it is Him ye worship. He
hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh
of swine, and that which any other name hath been invoked
besides that of Allah. But if one is forced by necessity,
without willful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,-
then is he guiltless. For Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful." (Holy Qur'an; Sura 2 A.172-173)
