John Houghton
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
John Houghton's books are for children, but I like them. They are very simply written with wonderful characters and stories. They are not to everyone's taste, being quite religious in tone, but if you can cope with that, its really worth searching these little gems out.
The stories involve three children from England (sound familiar?!) who get sucked into a world where animals can talk (sounds more familiar) and an evil power holds the world in its sway...There is a handsome hero who sacrifices his life to defeat the evil witch, and a beautiful Ice Maiden that he falls in love with... Wonderful! All the right ingredients for a good fantasy tale......
