W e b Q u e s t
"WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented, research activity in which students collect information using the World Wide Web. These WebQuest activities are designed to allow students to focus on relevant material rather than spending time browsing the net. WebQuest promotes critical thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation."

Through this WebQuest students will divide into groups and explore various Geographic Wonders throughout the World. Groups will decide on one Wonder and conduct research on this topic. Students will then create and present a PowerPoint Presentation sharing the information that they found. Once all presentations have been presented each student will be required to submit a 300-word essay on their Wonder.
Through this WebQuest students will research an Immigrant Family who has come to the United States to start a new life. For some, this project can be a story about their family. Students are required to present a Multimedia presentation including photographs, movie clips, audio, etc.
You have just won a trip to Madrid! Through this WebQuest students will work in groups and research the various aspects regarding Spain and the city of Madrid- history, culture, etc. Groups will be required to create two travel brochures as well as a PowerPoint to help demonstrate their findings and well as to help with their Spanish.
This WebQuest explores the geography, history, sporting, and music of the gem in the Caribbean called Jamaica. Students, in groups of three, will be researching Jamaica throughout a list of provided educational sites. Students are looking for information regarding the country's history, music, culture, sports, etc.
This WebQuest is structured to study current issues in one or several African countries. Students in groups of two will act as reporters and research a African Nation comments on its current issues regarding health, poverty, political corruption, etc. Students will be required to gather pictures and other important documents and create a Multimedia Presentation.
