Bakery To Make Bill Knapp's Cakes

Awrey Bakery on Farmington Road in Livonia, MI.
LIVONIA,
MI -- Last year, Bill Knapp's went out of business. Ever since,
Metro Detroiters have been missing their FREE chocolate cake on
their birthday.
Awrey Bakery,
located on Farmington Road in Livonia, will start making those chocolate
cakes once again. They bought the famous recipe for $15,000. Metro
Detroiters won't have to live without a free chocolate cake on their
birthday anymore.
Bill Knapp's
was a chain restaurant that offered home-cooked burgers and other
items. They saw decreasing business throughout their last few years.
Eventually, they just went out of business. Bill Knapp's had restaurant
throughout Michigan and some in the Ohio area.
Awrey Bakery
will be selling these chocolate cakes at their store on Farmington
Road. They said these cakes will be shipped to local grocery stores.
There has been no determination on which stores they will be available
at yet.
