Von Maur Opens in Laurel Park Place

On Monday, Von Maur opened in Laurel Park Place in the former location of Jacobson's which went out of business. They are a fresh new store with a new look.

The store opened on Monday but the grand opening celebrations will begin on Saturday, October 18th. There will be fun activities for everyone in your family. You can even enter to win one of ten $1,000 shopping sprees to Von Maur.

Of the activites lined up is an appearance by former Superman "Dean Cain." He will be at the Von Maur in Laurel Park Place on Saturday afternoon. There will also be several product representatives for the different labels in the store.

Von Maur is the latest store to open in Laurel Park Place. For the last year, everyone has been anticipating the opening of this new store. It's definitely something that you will want to check out for yourself.

The first Von Maur store to open in Michigan was the one in Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor. That location opened about a month ago. The Laurel Park location is only the second Von Maur store in Michigan.

Both stores replaced Jacobson's which went out of business. The locations were empty for a few months before the spaces were bought by Von Maur. The building of these two stores went on for almost a year.
