California State Senator Denham:
Why did you stop the hearing on AB 289 which would give California voters the opportunity to designate that their organs NOT go to convicts serving time in jail? As a citizen who has paid taxes and who has signed a donor card, I feel I have the right to state that, in event of my death, my organs do NOT go to some convict who has no social redeeming value.
Please reconvene the hearing and LETS GET THIS IMPORTANT PIECE OF LEGISLATION moving again.
