BOILED COCOA COOKIE
(Yield: 4 dozen)

2 cups sugar
½ cup cocoa powder
½ cup milk
½ cup butter or margarine
3 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Line baking pans with waxed paper.

In a large saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, and milk.  Bring to a boil; boil for 2 minutes.  Remove from heat.  Stir in butter, vanilla, oats and nuts.  Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking pans.  Let stand until cool.
