BROWN SUGAR CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
(Yield: 4 dozen)

1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1½ cups firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1¾ cups self-rising flour
¾ cup semisweet chocolate morsels

Preheat oven to 375°F.  Spray large baking sheets with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.  Add eggs and vanilla; beat until well blended.  Beat in flour until blended.  Stir in chocolate morsels.  Drop by tablespoonfuls, 2-inches apart, onto prepared baking sheets.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.  Remove from baking sheets; cool on a wire rack.
