CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES IV
(Yield: 3 dozen)

¾ cup butter or margarine
1¼ cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1¾ cups self-rising flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
1 cup pecan pieces

Preheat oven to 375°F.  Lightly spray baking sheets with non-stick vegetable spray.

In large mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla until creamy.  Blend in egg.  Gradually blend in flour.  Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans.  Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls, 3-inches apart, on prepared baking sheets.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes.  Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes.  Remove from baking sheets; cool completely on a wire rack.
