CHOCOLATE CRUNCH SQUARES
(Yield: 15 squares)

3 2½-ounce Milky Way bars, chopped into small pieces
¾ cup semisweet chocolate morsels
5 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 cups crispy rice cereal with cocoa
½ cup raisins
Confectioners’ sugar

Line an 11x7-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, letting ends extend above the pan on 2 sides.  Lightly grease the foil with butter.

In a medium saucepan, combine Milky Way bars, chocolate morsels and butter.  Heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is melted and smooth.  Remove from heat.  Gently stir in cereal and raisins.  Scrape into prepared baking pan.  Press into an even layer with the back of a large spoon.  Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Lift the foil by ends onto a cutting board.  Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.  Dust the cookies with confectioners’ sugar just before serving.
