CHOCOLATE-NUT BROWNIES
(Yield: 2 dozen)

2 12-ounce packages semisweet chocolate morsels
¼ cup water
11 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1½ cups sugar
4 eggs
1½ cups self-rising flour
1 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray a 13x9-inch baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a small saucepan, over medium heat, melt 3 cups chocolate morsels in water.  Scrape into a large mixing bowl; beat until smooth and glossy.  Beat in sugar, then eggs until blended.  Gradually beat in flour.  Stir in remaining chocolate morsels and walnuts.  Scrape into prepared baking pan; smooth the top.

Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.  Cool in pan on a wire rack.  Cut into bars.
