CHOCOLATE PECAN BROWNIES II
(Yield: 16 brownies)

2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 eggs
½ cup sugar
½ cup self-rising flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375°F.  Spray an 8x8-inch baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate morsels and butter, stirring until the mixture is smooth.

In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar until thick and lemon-colored.  Stir in flour.  Add chocolate mixture and vanilla; stir well.  Pour into prepared baking pan.  Sprinkle pecans over the top of the batter; press lightly into the batter.

Bake for 25 minutes.  Cool in pan on a wire rack.  Cut into 2-inch squares.
