CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER DROPS
(Yield: 3 dozen)

1¼ cups self-rising flour
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¾ cup butter, softened
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup sugar
½ cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
½ cup chopped peanuts

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a small bowl, combine flour and cinnamon.

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugars, and peanut butter until creamy.  Beat in egg and vanilla.  Gradually beat in flour mixture.  Stir in chocolate morsels and peanuts.  Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto UNGREASED baking sheets.  Press down slightly to flatten into 2-inch circles.

Bake 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are set but centers are still soft.  Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to a wire rack to cool completely.  Store in an airtight container.
