DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
(Yield: 16 squares)

¾ cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
½ cup boiling water
2 cups sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1-1/3 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup coarsely chopped pecans
1 12-ounce package semisweet chocolate morsels

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray a 9x9-inch baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cocoa and butter until well blended.  Add boiling water; stir until well blended.  Stir in sugar, eggs, and butter.  Add flour and vanilla.  Stir in pecans and chocolate morsels.  Pour into prepared baking pan.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.  Cool in pan on a wire rack.  Cut into bars.
