DOUBLE CHOCOLATE WALNUT DROPS
(Yield: 3 dozen)

¾ cup butter or margarine, softened
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2¼ cups self-rising flour
½ cup cocoa powder
1¾ cups mini chocolate morsels
1 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray cookie sheets with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.  Add eggs egg and vanilla, beating until well blended. 

In a medium bowl, combine flour and coco powder; add to creamed mixture, stirring until well blended.  Stir in chocolate morsels and walnuts.  Drop, 2-inches apart,  by heaping tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.

Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned.  Remove from cookie sheets; cool completely on a wire rack.
