FUDGE BROWNIES II
(Yield: 2 dozen)

1 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray a 13x9-inch baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat.  Stir in cocoa until well blended.  Stir in sugar.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Add vanilla.  Stir in flour and nuts.  DO NOT BEAT.  Spread in prepared baking pan.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.  Cool in pan on a wire rack.  Frost, if desired.
