OATMEAL
LACE COOKIES II
(Yield: 3 dozen)
¼ cup butter or margarine, softened
1½ cups firmly packed brown sugar
3½ cups rolled oats
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking powder
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray baking sheets with non-stick
vegetable spray.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients; beat until well
blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire
rack.
