PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
(Yield: 7 dozen)

1 cup butter or margarine, melted
¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1¼ cups self-rising flour
1 cup bran flakes
¾ cup rolled oats

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugars, vanilla, peanut butter, and eggs; beat until well blended.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, bran flakes, and oats.  Add to butter mixture, stirring until well blended.  Drop by teaspoonfuls onto UNGREASED cookie sheets.

Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until firm.  Remove from cookie sheets; cool on a wire rack.
