1 cup butter or margarine, softened
¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups peanut butter morsels

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy.  Add egg; beat well.  Gradually stir in flour.  Stir in peanut butter morsels.  Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2-inches apart, onto UNGREASED baking sheets.

Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.  Remove from baking sheets; cool on a wire rack.
