PEANUT
BUTTER FRUIT DROPS
(Yield: 4 dozen)
1 14-ounce can condensed milk
¾ cup peanut butter
2 cups biscuit mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups diced candied mixed fruit
Milk
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large mixing bowl, beat condensed milk and peanut butter until
smooth. Add biscuit mix, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg; mix well.
Stir in candied fruit. Add a little milk if the mixture becomes too
stiff.
Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls, 2-inches apart, on UNGREASED cookie
sheets.
Bake 12 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 1 to
2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets; cool on a wire rack.
