ROAD BARS
(Yield: 15 squares)
2 cups milk chocolate morsels
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
¼ cup corn syrup
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup mini marshmallows
3 cups crisp cinnamon cereal
1 tablespoon sugar
Line an 11x7-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, letting ends extend
above the pan on 2 sides. Lightly grease the foil with butter.
In a medium saucepan, heat chocolate morsels, butter, and corn syrup
over low heat until chocolate and butter are melted. Remove from
heat. Stir in 1 teaspoon cinnamon, marshmallows, and cereal until
blended.
Scrape the mixture from saucepan into prepared baking pan and press
firmly with spatula into an even layer.
In a small bowl, combine remaining cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle
over the top. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
Lift the foil by ends onto a cutting board. Cut into squares.
Store in an airtight container.
