SOUR CREAM APPLE BARS
(Yield: 1 dozen)

1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup grated apples
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray a 9x9-inch baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cracker crumbs, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.  Pat half of the mixture into the prepared baking pan.

In a small bowl, combine sour cream, apples, egg, and flour; mix well.  Spread over the crumb mixture in the pan.  Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.  Cool in pan on a wire rack.  Cut into bars.
