SPICY ROCK COOKIES
(Yield: 4 dozen)

¾ cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 egg, lightly beaten
2 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon allspice
¾ cup chopped dates
2 cups raisins
2 cups chopped pecans
1 tablespoon milk

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray large baking sheets with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.  Add eggs, beating well.  Stir in flour and allspice until well blended.  Stir in dates, raisins, pecans, and milk.  Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2-inches apart, onto prepared baking sheets.

Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.  Remove from baking sheets; cool on a wire rack.
