SWEET CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
(Yield: 16 brownies)

4 ounces sweet baking chocolate
¼ cup butter or margarine
¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
½ cup self-rising flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
1-1/3 cups flaked coconut
¼ cup milk

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray an 8x8-inch baking dish with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a small saucepan, combine chocolate and butter; cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.

Stir ½ cup brown sugar into chocolate mixture until well blended. Beat in the eggs.  Stir in flour and ½ cup of the walnuts until well blended.  Spread in prepared baking pan.

In a small bowl, combine coconut, remaining brown sugar and pecans; stir in milk until well blended.  Spoon evenly over the brownie batter.

Bake for 35 minutes or until tester inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs.  Cool in pan.  Cut into squares.
