TRIPLE
CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES
(Yield: 4 dozen)
2 1-ounce squares semisweet chocolate
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2½ cups self-rising flour
6 1-ounce squares semisweet chocolate, cut into chunks
1 cup white chocolate morsels
Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray cookie sheets with
non-stick vegetable spray.
In a small saucepan, stirring constantly, melt chocolate until smooth.
Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla, beating until well blended. Beat in melted
chocolate until blended. Stir in flour until well blended.
Stir in chocolate chunks and chocolate morsels. Drop, 2-inches apart,
by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned on edges. Remove
from cookie sheets; cool completely on a wire rack.
