CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA BROWNIES
(Yield: 12 servings)
1 cup butter or margarine
10 1-ounce squares white chocolate, broken
1 cup sugar
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a 13x9-inch baking pan with
aluminum foil, leaving and overhang. Lightly butter the foil.
In a double boiler, melt butter and chocolate, stirring until mixture
is smooth. Remove from heat, stir in sugar and vanilla. Add
eggs; beating until well blended. Stir in flour and nuts until just
combined. Pour into prepared baking pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool complete
on a wire rack. Lift out of pan; peel off the foil, and cut into
squares.
