Chapter 30

~6 months later~

Jessica looked deep into Brian's blue eyes and felt as if there were no one else within a hundred miles of them.

"Jessica, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband; for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?" As Jessica turned these words over in her mind, she thought about all that she and Brian had already been through: the heat surgery that had nearly torn them apart, the petty fights, and the thought that if it hadn't been for that fight with her boyfriend that night that she and Brian might have never gotten together for there was no doubt in her mind that that was the night that he had won her heart and she ahd won his. Brian's worried expression snapped her back into reality.

"I do," she answered confidently. She suppressed a laugh as Bien let out a sigh of relief.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Brian slid his arms around her waist and pulled her into the most passionate kiss they had ever shared. Jessica struggled to regain her breath as they walked down the aisle hand in hand.

"What took you so long to say 'I do'?" Brian asked her later, just before they entered the reception hall.

"I just kept thinking about all the things that you and I have already been through. Surgery, illness, fights; is there anything that could tear us apart?" she asked seriously.

"No way," he answered firmly. He took her hand as they walked into the hall and were greeted by thunderous applause. After the countless hugs, the bride and groom made their way to their table and cut the cake. As Brian picked up a piece of cake to feed Jessica, she looked at hims sternly.

"Littrell, I warning you. If you get cake all over my face then you'll spend our honeymoon sleeping alone on the couch," she threatened.

"You may want to listen to her, Rok," Nick told his friend. Brian laughed as Jessica scowled and Vanessa slapped Nick. Brian looked at Jessica mischievously as he weighed the thought in his mind. He moved the cake slowly toward her mouth, gaining her trust, then at the last minute he smeared it all over her nose, lips and chin. She laughed as he tried to get the remaining bite in her mouth. Instead he accidentally dropped it into the chest of her dress. She looked at his in shock as he, red-faced, reached in to get it out.

"Way to go, Rok!" AJ yelled. Jessica grinned as she picked up a piece of cake. "I hope you enjoyed fishing for cake in my dress because that's the last time you're gonna get to touch me for a while," she said evilly. She took the piece of cake and rubbed it all over Brian's mouth. Then she kissed him tenderly despite the icing that was rubbed on their faces.

"Hey, Jess," AJ called. "I think some cake fell down Rok's pants. Why don't you get it out?" The room erupted in laughter as Jessica turned to AJ.

"Alex!" she scolded. "Go rent a porn. This is not a free show!" Even Brian cracked a smile a her comment.

"You know I love you guys," AJ whispered as he hugged the couple after the crowd had gone back to mingling.

"We love you, too, Bone," Brian said."

"Have fun on your honeymoon and don't do anything that I wouldn't do," he smiled.

"Yeah, like that really limits us," Jessica said sarcastically. AJ waved as he walked away. Then Nick and Vanessa came up and split Jessica and Brian up. They chatted for a few minutes before saying goodbye.

"So what's Nessa say?" Brian asked Jessica.

"That's for you to find out later," she teased. "What'd Nick say?"

"I have orders from the sex god AKA Nick to make wear you out," Brian whispered in her ear. He pulled back from her a little and looked at her seriously.

"Are you scared?"

"Maybe a little," she admitted. "But I want to have all ten of your children."

"Ten?" he asked.

"Too many?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I was thinking 20," he said mischievously. She giggled against his lips as he kissed her.

"C'mon," she said, taking his hand and pulling him in the waiting limo. "I think we may need to get started, Mr. Littrell."

"I couldn't agree more, Mrs. Littrell," he said as he wrapped her up in a fiery kiss. This was how they were meant to stay… forever.
