LEO!: Screaming fans try to get a glimpse of the star

Ahh...it's Monday night in Manhattan, the screams and shouts of about two hundred fans filled the air, as Leonardo DiCaprio arrives at the Ziegfeld Theatre. Security must stay strong trying to restrict the crowds who seem to have an emornous of strength the never knew they had as crowds pushed forward as the actor made his way inside. Trying extra hard just to get one last gilmse of the hearthrob. A typical scene these days...

The glamourous premiere brings a variety of celebrities.

"MAN" UNMASKED: Leonardo DiCaprio at the New York Premiere

From the well known Celebrities: Sharon Stone and Phil Bronstein, Dan Aykroyd, Francis Coppola, Claire Danes, Don DeLillo, Dominick Dunne, Greg Kinnear, Elle Macpherson, Frank McCourt and Sydney Pollack. To the I-have-no-idea-why-you're-here celebrities: Monica Lewinsky's lawyer, William Ginsburg, O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Shapiro.

Val Kilmer attended with his new love, Jaycee Gossett and Julia Ormond also there with her new love Jon Rubin. And there was Susan Sarandon trying to find her daughter, who like most fans was running after DiCaprio. The cast of the film shined as Leo's co-stars Gabriel Byrne, Gerard Depardieu, Jeremy Irons, and John Malkovich all celebrated the opening of their new film.

After the New York Premiere Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted just partying with Mira Sorvino, Claire Danes Miramax's Harvey Weinstein at Elaine's.

Behind the Scenes Tidbits

During the movie's screening at the Premiere, Leonardo DiCaprio became sick and rushed to the washroom. DiCaprio explained his sudden rush "Nerves," he says, "I was drinking too many Cokes."
Later on, at the gala afterward, DiCaprio made his way to the balcony table and stood there making it difficult for anyone to come near him. He refused all requests to join the cast and MGM President Frank Mancuso for a group portrait. This irritated the organizers and claimed to have cost the studio $500,000.
