Fun Recipes That Kids Love

Kids love these recipes, but they must be prepared by an adult or with close adult supervision.  My kids really enjoy helping me in the kitchen & learning to cook.

Frosted Cookies

Spread vanilla wafer cookies with vanilla frosting & top with sprinkles.

These are a fun treat at parties because the kids can make them themselves.

Bite Size Ice Cream Sandwiches

Place a spoonful of your favorite ice cream on the bottom side of a vanilla wafer cookie. Top with another vanilla wafer cookie to sandwich the ice cream filling. The ice cream sides of these sandwiches may be rolled in sprinkles, chopped nuts or mini candy coated chocolates.

Star Sandwiches

Make sandwiches with peanut butter & jelly or cheese & bologna.Use star cookie cutter to cut sandwiches.

Kool-Aide Pie

1 pkg. unsweetened Kool-Aid, any flavor, 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 8 oz. frozen whippred topping (thawed), 1 prepared graham cracker crust

In large bowl, mix kool-aid & sweetened condensed milk until thoroughly blended. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into graham cracker crust. Chill until set.
