Rei's Grandpa

Rei is the only one of the group who has a grandparent (at least who is shown). He loves cute girls and follows them all over, including Rei's friends. He is the Priest at the Hikawa Jinja and his disciple is Yuuichirou. He dislikes Yuuchirou & Rei's relationship (he would better like Mamoru for his granddaughter...)

Rei sometimes gets mad with him, for being so mischevous and pervent; and for humillating Yuuichirou, but she loves him much. It was seeing him hurt what made her power-up in R. In the manga it's explained Rei's mother died and her busy politic father couldn't raise her, so she was left with her grandfather. (In the manga he is quite more serious)  And so, he is her only family and both love each other much.
