Minako is a kind-of-weird girl who wants
to have fun. She is supposed to live with her parents but
isn't really said in the anime. She lived in England for
a while, fighting as Code-name Sailor V but joined the
others with Artemis, her taliking cat. Her dream is to
become an idol singer.
Minako has the most interesting love life of the Inner Senshi. In England she loved a boy called Alan, but he loved her English friend Katharina. During the series, she has liked lots of guys, even Haruka! Well, she thought she was a boy. She fought with Mako for oneman, but he was married. She also had a double date with Tiger Eye and Hawk Eye. And she is an admirer of the Three Lights. Though her sad past, she is always smiling and...she looks as Usagi's twin!
Her name means Beautiful Little Child of Love. It comes from the fact that Venus was the Roman goddess of Love. Though, in Japanese Venus is called Gold Star and her kanji (japanese character) is metal, so some attacks are metal based, but mostly are related to love for being the reicarnation of the goddess Venus. In SuperS she transforms in Super Sailor Venus.
