My Trip to the Great White North |
During semester break of 2000-01 I traveled to Mankato, Minnesota, to finally pay a visit to my friends up there. I burned a roll of film in a couple of days there. These pics aren't too exciting but I thought maybe those visiting the site would like to take a look. |

Left: Outside of the Mall of America, in the suburbs of Minneapolis. Largest mall in the U.S., but not largest in the world. Below left: Inside the Mall, Camp Snoopy--America's largest indoor themed amusement park. Below: Justin standing next to what looks like a shark, next to the underwater exhibit in the Mall. which was too expensive for our tastes. |

Above left: Me (at the bottom) standing in front of one of the world's largest indoor ferris wheels. Above right: A frozen lake (behind the trees). I had to take some scenery pictures just to prove to my fellow Kansans that at least southern Minnesota looks pretty much like our own state. |

Below left: Snow-covered Minneapolis as seen from the air right after takeoff. Below right: Couldn't resist putting up this picture of my parents taken on the way home after they picked me up at the airport. |
