This page is dedicated to all those souls who have left our world and our lives to sit with the angels. They are never forgotten and permanently live within our hearts. I started this page with the intention of it being a memorial to my family and friends who death has claimed. However, if you feel that you have someone to remember and would like your poem displayed on this page then please let me know.
This page is for all the angels in all our lives
This is in memory of my brother Billy who lost his life in an unnecessary road accident going to work one morning. One momentary lapse of consideration and concentration led to a young life being lost. Billy died on the threshold of his manhood and we all, my parents especially, miss him greatly.
This is in memory of my mother in law. She was a wonderful mother to my husband and his five brothers and sisters and a very good second mum to me. She was also an excellent grandmother and we all miss her enormously. Rest in peace Mum, and keep talking the wings off those angels.
This is in memory of my very good friend Jenny who died at age 64 from a brain tumour. This lady worked so hard and always thought of others before herself. It is sad that her life was cut short before she could enjoy her first grandson or retirement.
This is in memory of my wonderful companion - my springer spaniel Penny who had to be put to sleep at age 8 because of a virus that entered her spinal column and made her paralysed. I lost a soulmate when she died and I miss her very much even now.
This is in memory of a young American woman I have never had the pleasure of meeting. Her aunt Linda left a message in my guestbook for me to visit Amy's memorial site which I did. She was stalked for 6 years and then murdered by an internet stalker. I composed this poem for Amy's family.
