FAMOUS POETS
Robert Louis Stevenson
A Brilliant Scottish Poet who is probably more famous for his novels such as Treasure Island than his poems.  I have placed three of his poems which were among my favourites from my childhood.
Rudyard Kipling
I have placed his poem The Female Of The Species on this page and unfortunatley have no room to place any more. However I have created a link in my links page to a site that has a vast range of his poems to read.
Sir Walter Scott
Again a famous Scottish poet whose works I was brought up on.  I have only had space to place Lochinvar here and have not found a site to link to that has available a vast selection of his works.  If you know of one, please let me know.
NOT SO FAMOUS POETS
PE Keen
I am rather biased when it comes to this young poet - she is my daughter!  This poem was written as part of her course work for English.  She was 14 when she wrote this.  I cannot believe that Pauline professes to have no interest in  poetry!  I think she has talent but then she doesn't.
SA Mitchell
This poet is my eldest daughter and her work is very moving.  Sam is not only a poet but an artist too.  Unfortunately I cannot show her art here as I do not have the skills to transfer her work from life to computer.
Phil Ashwell
Phill's poetry is very good and some of it is quite hilarious.  I have placed two of Phill's poems here with his permission - a futuristic funny one and a sad one.  Most of Phill's work is quite funny and i highly recommend a visit to his site which includes much more than poetry.
JC Lozada
This poet I happened to stumble across as one does whilst visiting cyberspace.  I read some of his poems and they touched me in a very sensitive way.  His site is well worth a visit with poetry both in Spanish and English. I have obtained his permission to reproduce some here.
Malcolm Massiah
This poet I met in a poetry club online. He has a wonderful talent with words and deserves to be mentioned.  Malcolm iscurrently building his own website and I hope tohave a link to it very soon. I have obtained his permission to reproduce some here.
Samuel Anderson
The poetry here is by my great grandfather, who I never had the pleasure of knowing.  My father recently showed me these two poems and I felt they should be shared with the world.  These poems are religious and written as per the times.
