ABOUT SCOTLAND
On this page you will find a selection of articles, poetry, links that I would like to share with you.  I am very proud of my Scottish heritage even although I no longer live by those bonnie banks and braes of Scotland.  This page has only just been started (23 July 2000) so please do stop by again for a further update.  If you know of any interesting sites or articles which could be added then please do let me know.

Electric Scotland
This is a Scottish community site which is very interesting.   It has all sorts of information about the history, culture, tartans, clans etc.  There is a selection of poetry too on this site.  Space here does not permit me to tell you everything this extensive site covers.  I can only recommend that you take a look if you are interested in anything remotely connected to Scotland.

Flower of Scotland

Although "Flower of Scotland" is not a traditional song, it has been adopted as Scotland's  national anthem, along with "Scotland the Brave"


O Flower of Scotland,
When will we see

The Hills are bare now,
And Autumn leaves
lie thick and still,

Gaelic Net
A very good site if you are interested in the Gaelic heritage.  Good section on history and plently of links for those wanting to take the language or history further.
