Lack of a Cause

So, was it worth it to flip out?
Did you get rid of all your doubts
Shall I avoid the subject from now on
Is it worth it to hold on
Can you not help falling in love
Even though it might be wrong
Lovely excuse for living without making a difference
Do you have to get along?
Is your fear better vented in argument
Does it make a difference if you feel like crap
Does feeling strongly make it alright
Emotion is just a cheap thrill
I could rip off Shakespeare, who had the right idea
We're all playing, we're bored
Passion is revered
Around we throw them, our feelings
Do you ever think maybe it's not right
If emotions are important, then they're over-used
they're abused
Unused tears, unconquered fears
Emotion could leave you hating yourself
We never make it leave, we just let it breed
Let it take you over
As a matter of fact, it's your thrilling master
