Gundam Wing Infinite Dance version one

         Gandamu Uingu Mugen no Dansu ichiban

Part Forty-three;
*Wounds that Run Deep are Sure to Scar*

         Paato Fuochiisurii;
         *Fukai kizu wa kitto kizuato o suru*

You, Messiah
   Clockwork angel,
   Wake up, shine bright,
   on the endless night.
   Release all my glacier time.

Hiiro sat once again within the cockpit of WingZero and reflected on how comfortable it felt to him. His hands fit the controls, perfectly. The suit responded to his every nuance, perfectly. Was he the Perfect Soldier? Was he the one who would bring peace to the Earth Sphere? Did it matter?

When he closed his eyes he could picture immense wings on his Mobile Suit. Was this another hallucination or vision? Was it a premonition? An angel, piloted by a devil, would dance and become the Heart of the Universe. With wings made of blood and metal, bound together with feathers of hope and anguish, Hiiro Yui darted out into Space with his powerful Gundam, and headed for the dark shadow of another, like him, but who had lost his way.

From him who is and who was and who is coming,
   "I am the Alpha and the omega,
   the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
   "I know your doings,
   that you are said to live, but you are dead."
   "Be awake and invigourate the things that remain
   that are at the point of dying."
   "Fallen, Babylon the great."
   "I'm coming soon,"
   "And night shall be no more."
   Hallelujah! Salvation, glory and power belongs to God.

The beautiful stars encompassed him as he went. Was it a rightous mission he was embarking on? Or was it yet another futile battle in the history of humanity? Was there a difference? Humanity was nothing but a history of fighting, wars, and soldiers. Of innocence lost and built up angst. It covered the blue sphere of their home with a dark aura that wrenched his heart and gave him the will to keep going. It was nothing. It was insignificant. But it had to stop. It had to stop now.

Aurora, eschaton open eyes
   Midday, you'd be no more boy
   Twilight, though wings torn away.

The wings within his mind burst into stars as he approached Libra and the object of his mission. All meaning left him and his opponent. He would die in the fight with Epyon, it was as sure as the dance that continued, dizzyingly in it's simple serenity, around them. He was no longer an angel nor a devil. He was a soldier, one who could not exist in a world with peace.

Silent sea, Screaming ground, shining sky to fly
   Emerald sea, sardius ground, Jasper sky to bleed
   and fall as sweet rain
