	Chapter 14 – Queen vs. Princess Codie began to walk threw the empty field. Where was that stupid entrance!? She began to mutter to herself. She should have gone another day. Maybe when it wasn’t raining anymore. Her mind wandered to Claire, Hikari and the others. They were all finally reunited. But what about Pan? Would she come to? “I have to at least try.” Codie told herself. In the distance, she heard a sound. She looked up, the Sailor Senshi were all there. It would take her a little while to catch up though. “Codie-chan!” Amy yelled. “We’ve found the entrance!!” Codie just smiled. “Maybe…I should not have told them about being Sailor Star…” “Why not? Afraid of letting people in?” Codie spun around. There was Aya. “Aya…why are you here?!” she asked angrily. Why had he not given her some hint that he was standing right behind her?! “I told you…I’m going to protect you.” He smiled and stepped closer. “You know…” she turned around, not being able to open up to him while looking in his eyes. “I could die in there…” He began to protest but she stopped him. “Demo, if that’s the case, before I die I want to know…I want to know why you left two years ago…” Damnit, she was beginning to cry. Mostly out of fear of what he would say. But Aya walked up behind her and pulled her to him. Codie gasped as her back hit his warm chest. “You…probably thought the worst. I didn’t want to leave, though. I had to. I could not protect you. I was so confused. About myself…and you. When I saw you crying that day in the café, I wanted to hold you. To tell you that everything would be alright. But when you said you were glad I left…” Codie spun around. “Baka! Of course I cared!! Do you have any idea how much I cried when you left?! Every night I sat up…waiting for you to…” Aya pushed his face to hers, interrupting her. She was shocked, but kissed him back. He held her tight in his arms. When it ended he wiped a tear off her cheek. “This time…I’ll stay by your side until the very end.” Codie smiled. They turned around and began walking towards the entrance, but then stopped. Codie shrieked…she had forgotten that the Sailor Senshi were all there… “Ahaha….” *sigh* “Uh, ok! I think we better transform before we go inside!” Yelled Codie, changing the subject. After the scouts transformed, a dark form began to creep from within the darkness… “Oh! I see you’re all here! How wonderful. I’ll get to kill you all at the same time. Try this on for size…BLACK SMOKE!” Queen Aminia opened her mouth, as toxic gases began to shoot out. “Aaaah!” screamed Sailor V. “Be careful everyone!” Sailor Moon yelled. “Kuso!” Sailor Star looked down, it had burnt her arm. The Dark Assassin ran up to her. “Are you ok?!” He asked, examining her arm. “I’m fine…” she lied, as she winced in pain. Aya looked up at her. “You always were a bad liar.” He smiled at her and then turned towards Aminia.” “SHIIIIIIIIIIIIINEEEEEEE!!” Aya cried as he took up his sword and ran towards the evil queen. “Aya-kun!! Dame Aya!!!!” Sailor Star tried to call him back, but it was no use. Aya swung at Aminia, but just barely missed. She smiled. “Hahaha!! Nice try bak….huh?” She put her hand to her face. He had made a small cut on her face. She shrieked. “YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT!!! BLACK SMOKE!!!!” Aminia hit him as he stood directly in front of her. “AAAAAAAYYYAAAAAAAA!!!” Sailor Star screamed, running towards her fallen hero. She fell to the ground, and crawled to his body. She pulled his head onto her lap. “Aya-kun…” she whispered. Her tears began to stain his cheeks. “Gomen…Codie-chan.” He barely managed to say. “I…didn’t stay….until the end…” His eyes closed. “Aya? Aya?!? AAAYYAAA!!!!!” She held him there for a moment. “It…can’t end like this…” She whispered as she stood. “IT WON’T END LIKE THIS!!!!!” As she screamed, she was surrounded by a bright light. Serena watched, knowing what was happening. The same thing had happened to her… “Hahah!! So with the death of your little lover there, you’ve shown yourself, Princess of the Sun.” Codie slowly opened her eyes. A new power surged threw her. She looked up at Queen Aminia. “Aminia. You have toyed with the lives of the people I love. I will not forgive you…ever.” She promised, closing her eyes, but Aminia just laughed. “Hahahaha!! Oh please. You will never be able to defeat me!! I am the all-powerful Queen Aminia!! I’ll kill you just like that pathetic little Pan and the Dark Assassin!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!” Codie’s eyes shot open. “Aminia…have you ever seen a shooting star?” she opened her arms towards the evil queen. “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
