Chapter 7 – Old Friends Tama walked into Codie’s room. She may need to talk, or maybe she would just forget her duty and leave? Tama jumped onto her bed, but was surprised to not find her there. He then noticed her standing on the balcony of her room, looking out towards the new morning. “Are you ok…Codie-chan?” “I will be. I just need some time to think.” “I see, I’ll be downstairs if you need me.” With that, Tama hopped off the bed, and hurried down the stairs. “Aya-kun…” *dingdong* Codie slowly made her way down the stairs. She opened the door. Her eyes widened in shock. “Codie-chan! Long time no see!” “Amara! Michelle, Setsuna! You’re all here!!” She had not expected to see her old friends. “We heard that you were in town, so we decided to come pay you a visit. It’s been so long since we’ve seen you.” Confessed Michelle. Codie invited the three women into her house. “I still can’t believe it! It’s been years since I’ve seen you!” “Not since your reign on the Sun, if I’m not mistaken.” Mentioned Amara. “Are you here to visit Aya-san? We saw him here a while ago, and wondered about your whereabouts.” Added Setsuna, not trying to pry… “Umm, no actually I didn’t even know Aya was here until recently…” Her gaze drifted to the ground. Thankfully, Amara changed the subject. “Then you must have heard about the recent attacks on the city. There haven’t been that many, but these new enemies are really hitting hard. We could use the extra help. We’ve divided the city. The inner senshi are taking one half, and we’re taking the other. I really think the senshi could use your help.” Codie nodded, “no problem.” After a few hours, Amara, Michelle and Setsuna began to leave. As they were leaving, Codie ran behind Amara hugging her. “I’ve missed you Amara-chan. You were such a good friend to me. This time, we’ll keep in touch, right??” Amara just smiled. “Definitely.”
