Grave of the Fireflies
Version: Dubbed
Seen At: Hollywood Video
Rating: PG-13
Review: Five Stars

Grave of the Fireflies is the all-time best anime that I have ever seen; and I have seen a lot of animes. The story is based on something real, World War II, and that makes all the difference to me.
The movie starts out from the end, then it tells the story. It shows how a brother and sister have to make it on their own without their parents during the war. The movie is extremely sad and depressing, but I think that's what is so good about it. This movie can really make you cry.
The animation isn't the best, but the story makes up incredibly for it. I talk so good about this movie and I only saw the Dubbed version. Imagine what the Japanese version would be like.
I didn't even choose the movie, someone else rented it for me because they thought the cover was pretty. I'm so thankful, though, that they have a good taste in art! If you see this movie anywhere, buy it no matter what the cost. It will be well worth your money, if you do!
