| Sakura Wars: Volume One |
| Version: Dubbed Seen At: Blockbuster Video Rating: PG-13 Review: Three Stars Sakura Wars: Vol. 1 displeased me greatly. I had been hearing so much about this anime on the web, I rented it, and it was pretty bad. The opening theme song, which remained in Japanese, was surprisingly appealing, though. The animation was, too, good. All the characters, even the guys, all were, in a sense, pleasing to look at. I have to say, though, when I first saw it I thought it was good, but when I started seeing other animes (Sakura Wars was another first outside of the Toonami Line-Up) I realized that this one didn't really stack up to the rest of them. Sakura War fans, though, would love to have to have this video, so, for them only, I recommend it to. I see it at every place I go to buy or rent videos, so if actually are a Sakura Wars fan, you've probably already seen it. How could I forget about the English voices? They were all moderatly good, except for the voice of the little blonde girl, Iri I believe her name was. It's been such a long time since I've seen the video that I can't realy remember the names. |
