| The Uschi and Aeva Story! The scene: Ash and crew are traveling on Lapras. There is an island in view. Ash is brushing Pikachu, while Misty is playing with Togepi. Tracey is sitting and reading a map over carefully. Narrator: After an unforgettable experience on Sunbeam Island, our heroes travel onward. Who knows what adventures are in store for them? Ash: {introducing title} The Uschi And Aeva Story! Togepi: Togi togi priii! Misty: Are you having fun, Togepi? Togepi: Togi! Misty giggled. Tracey: We’re about to land on the island of Aquarius. Ash: Cool name. It makes me want to burst out in song. Misty: Please don’t. Pikachu: Chu! Ash: Hey! He shot an evil look at Misty and turns to Tracey. Ash: What’s there? Tracey: Aquarius Island is famous for its great waves and weekly Pokčmon contests. Ash: Pokčmon contests? Let’s go! Come on Lapras! Lapras: Ooee! Togepi: Togi togi! They soon arrive on the island of Aquarius. They get off Lapras and Ash turns to it and holds up a pokčball. Ash: Thanks, Lapras. Return! Lapras in engulfed with a red light and it re-enters its pokčball. Ash turns around to see two girls and two identical Pokčmon come over a hill. The girls were both very tall and approximately one year older than him- about the same age as Tracey. One had shoulder-length brown hair that was pushed back by a black headband. Freckles dotted her face. She wore a maroon shirt with a long, sporty black skirt that had orange flames across the bottom. She had on black sneakers and pokčball earrings. She also wore a black bag. The other wore an orange blouse with the top 2 buttons open, white shorts, and white sneakers. Her black hair was pulled back in a bun, with a few pieces falling forward. She also had a pokčball hairpin and a white backpack. They both wore thin glasses and identical pokčball necklaces. The Pokčmon that followed them came up to their knees and were pink. Ash and Tracey got giant-eyed and blush and drool. Misty got mad and slapped them with a paper fan. Misty: Snap out of it! Still blushing, Ash notices the Pokčmon that are following the girls. Ash: Who’re those Pokčmon? Ash pulled out his Pokčdex and pointed it at them. Dexter: Wigglytuff. The balloon Pokčmon. The evolved form of Jigglypuff. Wigglytuff’s body is soft and rubbery, like a balloon. When angered, it inflates itself to an enormous size to scare off its enemy. Ash: Wow. Girl in maroon: Hey! Are you a Pokčmon trainer? Ash: Me? Girl in orange: Yeah. Ash: Yeah. I’m Ash Ketchem from the town of Pallet. Misty: (showing off) And I’m Misty, the Cerulean City Gym Leader! Tracey: And I’m Tracey Sketchit, a Pokčmon watcher! The girls walk closer. Girl in maroon: Hi! I’m Aeva. This is my best friend Uschi. We’re from New Bark Town. Uschi: Hi! Tracey sits down and begins to sketch Uschi. Uschi: We challenge you to a match. Aeva: You’re carrying six Pokčmon, right? Ash: Yeah. Why? Aeva: We’ll both battle you. I’ll use three Pokčmon, and Uschi’ll use three Pokčmon. You can use all six. We’ll let you choose your Pokčmon first. Ash: Ok, but I’m not going to need all six! Ha! Uschi: I’ll battle you first, Ash! Ash turns his hat around. He grabs a pokčball and throws it into the air. Uschi attempts to do the same, but she realized she doesn’t have a hat to rotate. Ash: Lapras! I choose you! Uschi: Okay, then. Jynx, go! Lapras and Jynx pop out of their pokčballs. Jynx: Jynx! Jynx Jynx! Ash: What’s that? Once again, he pulled out his Pokčdex. Dexter: Jynx. The ice Pokčmon. Jynx has an unusual combination of psychic and ice characteristics. Its is also unusual in that it doesn’t evolve, but its powers grow very powerful over time. Ash: Ok, Lapras, Ice beam! Uschi: Use you Pound on the incoming Ice Beam! The Ice Beam came straight for Jynx, but she pounded it. It only froze her hands. Uschi: Double slap! Jynx, still with the ice on her hands, slapped Lapras, who was hit hard. Ash: Oh, no! Lapras! Use Confuse Ray! Lapras’s eyes began to glow, and a strange light flew threw the air and surrounded Jynx. Jynx: Jynx! Jynx! Jynx couldn’t move. Ash: Great job, Lapras! Now Body Slam! Lapras smashed Jynx with a full Body Slam. Jynx was loosing a lot of energy. It flinched. Ash: Finish it off with water gun! The water shot out of Lapras’s mouth and onto Jynx. It fainted and Ash smiled. Ash: This is going to be easier then I thought. Uschi: Oh, no! Jynx, return! Jynx was sucked backed into its pokčball. With a smile, she tossed out another pokčball. A small, blue rabbit popped out. Uschi: Go Azumarril! Ash: Azumarril? He pulled out his Pokčdex again. Dexter: Azumarril. The water rabbit Pokčmon. The evolved form of Marril. No further information available. Tracey: An evolved form of Marril? Wow! Ash: Lapras use Hydro Pump! A gigantic stream of water emerged from Lapras’s mouth and headed strait for Azumarril. It hit hard, but had little effect. Uschi: Hahaha. Azumarril, Cyclone! The water rabbit performed some strange arm movements and a cyclone started over the water. It drew closer and closer to Lapras, and it was finally caught up in it. It was swept up into the air and tossed down hard. Lapras fainted. Ash: Waa! Lapras, return! Ash held out Lapras’s pokčball and he returned into it. He picked up another one and threw it out. Ash: Now for my water Pokčmon! Go Squirtle! Squirtle emerged from the pokčball, ready to fight. Squirtle: Squirt squirt Squirtle! Ash: Skull Bash! Uschi: Light Screen! Squirtle lowered its head and began to run. It came close, and a quick flash of light surrounded Azumarril. Squirtle went to hit, but was knocked backwards. Azumarril: Azu m-m-m-marril! Uschi: Now use Swift! With a raise of its arms, small stars flew out and hit Squirtle. He tried to get up, but he fell over and onto his back. He couldn’t get up. Uschi: Bite it! Azumarril went over to the turtle Pokčmon and gave it a good bite on the leg. Squirtle: (in pain) Squirtle! Ash pulled out a pokčball. Ash: Squirtle, return. Go Muk! Ash threw out Muk’s pokčball and he came out in a red blaze. Muk: M-m-m-Muk! Uschi: Muk, huh? Azumarril, return! Uschi had Azumarril return to its proper pokčball. Uschi: Now meet my most prized Pokčmon. Jolteon, go! Uschi flung a pokčball into the air and a strange yellow Pokčmon came out. Jolteon: Jolt! Ash: Okay, Muk! Poison gas. Powerful gas came out of Muk’s sludge body it was blown over to Jolteon, who stood stationary. After a few moments, the breeze blew it away, Jolteon wasn’t affected. Ash: Huh? Uschi: Show ‘em a true thundershock! Jolteon: Jolt…EON! Waves of electricity came out of its body and surrounded Muk. He roared in pain. Uschi: Wow. That’s some pretty strong sludge. Misty: (sarcastically) Now where have I heard that line before? Ash: Hold on Muk! Use your Pound! Uschi: Agility, Jolteon! Muk’s strong, sludge hands weren’t fast enough to hit Jolteon. It attacked with an effective Quick Attack. Uschi: Great job! Now use a thunderbolt! Jolteon let out a cry as an intimidating amount of electricity flowed into Muk. Afterward, Muk fainted. Ash: Muk, no! Return! Uschi: Jolteon, return! Both Pokčmon returned to their pokčballs. Aeva stepped forward as Uschi stepped back. As they switched places, they gave each other a high-five. Aeva: Looks like I’m up. She grabbed a pokčball off of her pokčbelt and allowed it to open. Aeva: Vaporeon, go! Ash: In that case, Bulbasaur, go! Vaporeon and Bulbasaur popped out of their pokčballs with a stream of red light. Vaporeon: Vaporeon! Bulbasaur: Bulba bulbasaur! Aeva: (chuckling) This’ll be easy. Ash: No way! Bulbasaur’s a plant type. Bulbasaur, Vine Whip! Aeva: Bite those vines! Two vines came out of the plant on Bulbasaur’s back and drew closer and closer to Vaporeon, who didn’t move. When they reached him, he bit them. Aeva: Vaporeon, Ice Wind! Ash: Icy Wind? What’s that? Vaporeon moved quickly and hailstones and icicles were sent flying towards Bulbasaur with a sudden gust of wind. Bulbasaur was close to fainting. Misty: (yelling) Call back Bulbasaur, Ash! That Vaporeon has ice attacks, and plant Pokčmon are weak against ice! Ash: No! Give it one last shot, Bulbasaur! Use Razor Leaf! Sharp leaves flew from Bulbasaur’s plant towards Vaporeon, who was hit hard. Aeva: Oh, no! Recover! Within a few seconds, Vaporeon was completely recovered. Ash: What? It recovered! Bulbasaur, return! Bulbasaur: (weakly) Bulba… Bulbasaur returned to its pokčball, and so did Vaporeon. Aeva quickly grabbed another one and threw it out. Aeva: Go Nidoking! The enormous Nidoking emerged from its pokčball. Ash: It’s your turn, Pikachu. Pikachu grabbed onto Ash’s leg and shook its head. Pikachu: (scared) Pika… Ash: Come on Pikachu! Pikachu timidly walked into the center of the battlefield. Ash: Pikachu, Thunder now! Pikachu: Pika…ka…CHU!!! Nidoking simply stood there as electricity flooded into its body. Pikachu: Pika? Aeva laughed. Aeva: You should know Nidoking isn’t affected by electricity. Blizzard! With a wave of its arms, Nidoking produced a giant blizzard. Pikachu: (shivering) Pi…ka…chu… Aeva: Now melt the snow with Fire Blast! A powerful blast of fire came out of Nidoking’s mouth and formed the Japanese symbol for fire before melting the snow and hurting Pikachu. Ash: Pikachu! Amazingly, Pikachu was still able to fight. Ash: Quick attack! Pikachu performed a Quick Attack on the giant Pokčmon, which only became slightly weakened. Aeva: Surf, now! Nidoking raised its arms and a giant wave came up from behind it. It jumped onto the crest and began to surf on top of it. The massive wave hit the electric rodent. When the water died down, Pikachu used the last of its energy to remain standing. Aeva: Now finish this match with a REAL thunderbolt! Nidoking obeyed and electricity poured out of him, knocking Pikachu out. Tracey: I can’t believe Nidoking knows those kinds of attacks! It must be a miracle! Ash: Pikachu! He ran up to Pikachu and carefully carried him over to Misty to hold. Afterwards, he went back to his spot and temporarily stood still. Ash [thinking]: I know it’s risky, but it’s my last choice. He sighs and grabs his last pokčball. Misty: (upset) Don’t tell me he’s going to— Tracey: He’s gonna do it! Tracey and Misty: Oh, no! Ash: Go, Charizard! Charizard flew out of his pokčball with a loud roar. He flew around in a circle before landing. Ash: Are you ready for this, Charizard? Charizard grunted, turned around, and blew flames at Ash. He fell over, well done. Aeva: Nidoking, return! Nidoking went back into his pokčball. Aeva grabbed another one. Aeva: This is going to be interesting. Let’s see whose is stronger: yours or mine! This is a true test. Oh, how I love playing with fire.... Aeva gave a quiet, evil laugh and threw the pokčball onto the ground and another Charizard came out. Hers was more muscular, but it wasn’t as big as Ash’s. Ash: Ok, then. Charizard, go! Charizard laid down and sighed an anime cloud. Aeva: I’m surprised your Charizard won’t listen to you. Anyway, Charizard, Sky Attack! Aeva’ Charizard flew up into the sky and plummeted back down at an amazing speed. It struck Ash’s Charizard with a lot of power. He raged and flew up along with Aeva’s. The two dangerous dragons began to attempt to Seismic Toss each other, but they kept evading each other’s attacks. Until, suddenly, Ash’s Charizard slashed Aeva’s. Her’s countered with a very strong cut. Ash: Flamethrower now! Charizard bursted a blast of flames at the other. Ash got teary-eyed and clenched his fists. Ash: Charizard is finally listening to me! His Charizard then released a wave of fumes at Ash, causing him to fall over again. Ash: (weakly) I guess not. The aerial attacks continued for a while. It seemed like the two were evenly matched. Aeva: Now use the special attack I taught you, Charizard! Her Charizard had a grin on his face. Its eyes glowed red and the other one froze. It no longer had control on its body. Ash: Huh? Misty: What’s happening? Uschi: Great job, Aeva! Tracey: That’s Psywave! I don’t know how a Charizard can learn a psychic attack! These Pokčmon are simply amazing! I got to get a sketch of this! Subsequently, Tracey began to draw Aeva’s Charizard. When it’s eyes ceased their glowing, Ash’s Charizard fell to the ground. Amazingly, it got back up and used Strength, Slash, and Flamethrower. It was the other Charizard’s turn to fall. When it rose, they were both very weak. They released a Flamethrower attack simultaneously, and the two attacks hit each other and caused an explosion. Both Charizards fainted and plummeted towards the ground. Ash and Aeva: Charizard, no! Return! They both pulled out their Charizard’s pokčballs and recalled them before they hit the ground. Aeva: It looks like we won. It was a great match. You are a truly great trainer. Come on. Let’s get to the Pokčmon Center. The five of them walked to the Pokčmon Center, which was not far away. Ash massaged Pikachu, who was barely awake. Ash stood next to Aeva, followed by Tracey and Uschi. Misty dragged along in the back, by herself. They handed their Pokčmon over to Nurse Joy, who needed the help of her Chansey. Nurse Joy: This might take about an hour. Curing 25 Pokčmon takes time! She giggled and walked off. Everyone sat down. The benches held 2 people. The found a small corner where they could all face each other. Ash and Aeva were on one, Tracey and Uschi were on another, and Misty sat by herself. Ash: Your Pokčmon are very strong, guys. Did you compete in the Indigo League? Uschi: Not yet. We competed in the Jolt League, though. Ash: How far did you place? Aeva: The final match was myself versus Uschi. She made my first Pokčmon faint, and I my next Pokčmon made hers faint. In the final match, both fainted simultaneously, so it was declared a tie. Tracey: So you’re both Pokčmon Masters? Aeva and Uschi: Yep. Ash and Tracey drooled. They wanted to say something intelligent, but all they managed to say was “erg.” Aeva: I’m guessing you competed in the Indigo League? Ash: Yeah… Uschi: How did you place? Ash: (proud) I placed (softly) in the top 16. Uschi: That’s really good! Aeva: Uschi’s right! You should be proud of yourself. Tracey: Why are you here in the Orange Islands? Aeva: We want to compete in the Orange League. Uschi: How many badges do you have so far, Ash? Ash: I have 2! Misty: How many do you girls have? Aeva: We each have 4. Ash fell over. Uschi: We have a lot of time before the Orange League, so we decided to take a vacation. Aeva: The great thing about vacation is that we always get to stay at hotels for free! Ash: For free? How do you do that? Uschi: We perform, too. Aeva sings and I play piano. We also play flute. Aeva: And you’ll never guess who our background singers are. Ash: Who? Uschi: Our Wigglytuffs! Ash, Tracey, and Misty: Your Wigglytuffs? Aeva: Yeah. We taught them to talk and took advantage of their sing attack. Tracey: But sing puts their enemies to sleep. How do you get them to sing without having your audiences doze off? Uschi: I guess it’s a side effect of us teaching them to talk. Now their song has no effect! Ash: Wow! Tracey: But there’s one thing that confuses me. Today when you two were battling Ash, your Pokčmon had moves that aren’t learned by the Pokčmon that used them. How do they do that? Aeva: With all of the money we saved on hotels, Uschi and I bought an Item Finder. It helped us find these devises called TMs and HMs, short for Technical Machines and Hidden Machines. They contain Pokčmon moves. There are many many different types. We used those to do things like teach my Nidoking Fire Blast, Thunder, Blizzard, and Psychic. TMs can only be used once, while HMs can be used forever. Uschi: We also found these things called ‘Rare Candies’, which make Pokčmon gain a level if they eat it. We found a lot of those. I didn’t use them, for the Pokčmon are slightly stronger if you train them the old-fashioned way. Aeva used all of them. Our Pokčmon are the same level, but they were trained differently. Moreover, we found different skill enhancers, so our Pokčmon have high skills. Misty: That’s amazing. I specialize in water Pokčmon. Do either of you have a preference? Uschi: I love water Pokčmon! (Getting teary-eyed) I dream one day of capturing the Legendary Bird Articuno… Ash, Misty and Tracey become stiff. They couldn’t believe what words they just heard. Aeva: I specialize in Fire type Pokčmon. (Getting teary eyed) And I would be so happy if I caught the Legendary Bird Moltres…. Aeva and Uschi turn to each other and grab each other’s hands. Uschi and Aeva: Or even Zapdos! Ash, Misty, and Tracey still remained still. Finally, Misty was able to say something. Misty: That wouldn’t be a good idea. Uschi and Aeva turn to her. Uschi and Aeva: (angered) Why not?! Tracey: Lets just say disturb not the harmony of Fire, Ice, or Lightning. Less, these titans reek destruction upon the world on which they crash. Ash: Saving the world is not an easy task. Uschi: What? Misty: Long story. There was an awkward pause. Aeva: I’m surprised at your training skills, Ash. Your Pikachu is fantastic, not to mention your Charizard. Your Charizard is at a much higher level than mine is. If you train it a little bit more, it’ll listen to you and be virtually unstoppable. Ash: You really think so? Aeva smiled. Aeva: Yes, I do. Uschi turned to Tracey. Uschi: I saw you doing some sketches before. You’re a Pokčmon watcher, right? Tracey: (gaga) Yeah. Uschi: Can I see some of your sketches? Tracey: Sure thing! He went into his backpack and took out his sketchpad. Uschi did the same. Uschi: Whenever I have the time, I like to draw Pokčmon. I’ll show you mine, too! They looked at all of the pictures they drew very slowly, admiring every detail. Suddenly, Tracey flipped past two drawings in his notebook. Uschi: Why’d you do that? Tracey: Er… they’re out of proportion. Uschi: Oh. Tracey [thinking]: That was close! I don’t want her to see the pictures I did of Sissy the gym leader and Officer Jenny! While Ash and Aeva and Tracey and Uschi continued their own conversations, Misty sat alone and looked at the floor. Pretty soon, Nurse Joy came to the counter with her Chansey. They both carried two trays of pokčballs. Pikachu sat on top of one, and Togepi sat on another. The two Wigglytuffs tagged along. The four trainers and the Pokčmon watcher went over to the counter to pick up their Pokčmon. Pikachu hopped into its trainer’s arms and they both smiled. Ash: Ya feeling better, Pikachu? Pikachu: Pi Pikachu! Misty picked up her pokčballs and picked up Togepi, who chirped happily. Togepi: Togi! Togi! Togi! Uschi and Aeva got their pokčballs and went over to their Wigglytuffs. They knelt down and gave them a hug. Aeva: How was that, Wigglytuff? Aeva’s Wigglytuff: Sensational! I’m full of energy now! The Wigglytuff’s voice was a bit squeaky, much like a person who inhaled some helium. Uschi: Fell better now, Adelaide? Adelaide: Much. What’s for lunch? Aeva laughed. Aeva: Adelaide, you’re just like your trainer! Misty: Adelaide? Uschi: Yeah. I name some of my Pokčmon. Adelaide here is named after a character from my favorite play. Ash: Now I know why they call them ‘The Balloon Pokčmon’. They sound like they’re full of helium! The Wigglytuffs’ faces grew red with anger. Aeva’s went to him and gave him a powerful double-slap attack. He fell over in pain. Ash: With a Double-Slap attack like that, I don’t think I want to get in its way when its mad. With that said, Adelaide got even madder, moved over to Ash, and gave him an even tougher Double-Slap attack. He laid on the ground and finally realized he should keep his mouth closed sometimes. Tracey: (laughing) They’re just like Misty when they’re mad! Misty growled, pulled out her handy-dandy mallet, and whacked Tracey over the head with all of her strength. He fell right on top of Ash, and they both groaned. Aeva and Uschi giggled. Aeva helped Ash to his feet, and Uschi helped Tracey to his. Aeva: You three are really great. Uschi: Would you mind if we stayed with you on your Pokčmon journey? Ash: Sure! I’d love to be with you. Aeva blushed. Tracey turned to Uschi. Tracey: That goes for me, too. Uschi also blushed. Misty was mad and didn’t like the fact that she was left out. Misty [thinking]: I think Aeva is getting a little too close to Ash… but those two are really nice. Wigglytuff: Thank you! I think we’re gonna have a good time, Pikachu. Pikachu: Pika! Adelaide turns to Uschi, who is smiling at Tracey. She doesn’t notice her, so she taps her leg. Uschi turned to her Pokčmon. Uschi: What is it? Adelaide: It’s getting late, and Pikachu says he saw a great place to camp out over by the beach. Uschi: Ok, then. She turns to the rest of the group. Uschi: Let’s go! After properly fastening their pokčballs on their pokčbelts, they headed out to the beach, where they set up camp. All five of them rolled out their sleeping bags around a pile of sticks. Aeva grabbed a pokčball and pointed it towards the ground. Aeva: Quilava, I choose you! A yellow, red and black creature, about 3’0”, with quills covering its body appeared from the pokčball. Ash: Wow! That’s cool! What is it? Aeva: It’s a fire type Pokčmon named Quilava. He’s at his middle stage. He uses powerful flame attacks to scorch its enemies. This ones a sweetie. Now use ember to start the fire! Quilava: Quil! Specks of fire flew out of the Pokčmon and onto the sticks. It began to blaze, and everyone was comfortable. Quilava was called back into its pokčball. The three girls grabbed their backpacks and rose to their feet. Misty: We’re gonna go get changed. Be right back! She winked at the boys as they left. In a few minutes, they returned in their PJs to see Ash and Tracey in their normal clothes. The two males drooled. Misty had on Horsea PJs that had long pants and sleeves. Uschi had on long pajama pants that were orange. She also wore a white T-shirt. Aeva was in a black tank top with flames across the bottom. Her short shorts were maroon and they had a drawstring. All three of them had their hair down. Ash took off his vest and shoved it into his backpack. They all went to sit down on top of their sleeping bags. The order was the following: Misty and Togepi, Tracey, Uschi, Aeva, Ash, Pikachu, Wigglytuff, Adelaide. They were all circled around the fire. Aeva scooted in closer to Ash, and he smiled. Tracey: Not even Team Rocket could ruin this. Aeva’s jumped up at the mention of the Rocket Gang. She looked as though she was on the brink of tears. Aeva: (voice cracking) Did you say T-Team Rocket? Tracey: Yeah. Why? Aeva: (about to cry) Do they bother you much? Misty: They always try to steal Pikachu, but we always beat them easily. Jessi, James, and Meowth never seem to realize they can’t win. Ash: And Butch and Cassidy aren’t a threat, either. Aeva started crying. Ash: What’s the matter? Aeva continued to cry. Uschi: They’re trying to kill her. Ash, Misty, Tracey, and Pikachu looked stunned. Ash: But… why? Aeva pulled herself together, but some tears continued to flow down her delicate cheeks. Aeva: About 3 years ago, I was really depressed. All of my friends turned against me, except Uschi and my family only blamed me for it. I was about to kill myself when I found about an organization called Team Rocket. I decided to join. For the first meeting, I took Uschi along and didn’t tell her where we were going. When they said it was Team Rocket, she claimed she had to go to the bathroom and ran home. I stayed in and completed the training courses. Every day, Uschi would tell me to quit and I said I would, but I never did. I felt horrible lying, but I wanted to stay in. After a short while, I was at the head. When 2 months had passed, I had become Giovanni’s secretary. Misty: Who’s Giovanni? Uschi: The head of Team rocket. Ash: Oh… Aeva: (continuing) I was so highly ranked in it that I got whatever I wanted. I succeeded in every mission and was never caught. Until one day, about 3 and a half months after I joined, I was promoted to Vice-president of all of Team Rocket. I was invincible. And still, every day, Uschi would tell me to quit. Every day, I agreed. Every day, I went back on my word. The day came that we attacked Wakaba, my hometown. Giovanni told me to steal Uschi’s Pokčmon, and I tried. I had become so brainwashed by their rules I had forgotten how deep my friendship with her was. When Uschi wouldn’t give them to me, I was ordered to kill her. That’s when I got smacked in the head with reality. I winked at her and made a sound like a shot. Uschi fell to the ground and we left her there. I took her pokčballs off of her belt and went back to Team Rocket headquarters. That day, I sent everyone out on a break. When they were gone, I set the Pokčmon free and fled. I’ve never gone back, and all of Team Rocket has been ordered to slaughter me if they see me again. Uschi: That’s when we fled to the Orange Islands. We got a chance to compete and get away. We would compete at the gyms and then I would complete my task. Aeva continued to cry. Everyone was yawning, except for Wigglytuff and Adelaide, who were already asleep. Soon afterward, Tracey, Uschi, and Misty nodded off. Aeva, who was still sobbing, turned to Ash. Her blue eyes sparkled in the moonlight. Aeva: Ash? Ash: Yes? Aeva: I’m scared. Aeva moved close to him and rested her head on his shoulder, where she fell asleep. He put his arm around her. Ash: (softly) It'll be ok. With that, he drifted off.
