  Describe significant events and people in the recent history of an Asian country.
 

This is evident when the student is able to:

1. construct a timeline of significant events in the history of the selected country

2. explain the importance of significant events in the development of society in the selected country

3. explain the way of life of the people, including their social and political structures

4. recount some of the important stories of the society and identify the values in them.
