This Winnie the Bear statue sculpted by William Epp is located inside the Assiniboine Park Zoo. The original Winnie was named after his owner's (Harry Colebourne) hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba.It was at the London Zoo, where Winnie resided, that Christopher Robin Milne met Winnie. Christopher renamed his own stuffed bear Winnie the Pooh. Christopher's father, A.A.
