My favorite costume is the one I wore 4 years ago and it won 1st place at the “costume parade where I worked at the time. I went to the local thrift shop and purchased the biggest, ugliest pink ball gown I could find. I wore this with wool socks, big work boots, ” Billy bob” teeth, too much rouge and lipstick, and work gloves. I made a wide ribbon to wear across my shoulder that said “ miss Redneck 1999” I also had a childs crown on my head. We had such fun! I do love Halloween and did something every year till we moved to the country and have no more spooks visiting us.
